D.D.I. (Tech) investigated 64 reports of [U.F.O.s]

Since 1st January, 1957 ['til 10th April, 1957] sixteen reports have been received.
These consist of three newspaper reports, eight fficial reports and five letters
direct from members of the public.

1 possibly a balloon}
# One Newspaper Report was a deliberate fake by a Mr Queree, who
suspended a cardboard and silver paper model from a clothes line
to prove "flying saucer pictures can be faked". As reported by the Daily
Sketch on 6th and 8th April 1957.

In 1957 there were 90 reports of unidentified objects, of which 65 were identified.
Of the 25 unidentified 8 were radar sightings.
Identified sightings have been classified as follows:-

Fireworks 2
Hoax 2
Clouds 1
Navigation Lights 11
Sputniks 1
Car Lights 1

During 1958 there have been eleven:-
